Guides for every part of GetSecureForms. Can't find it? Open a support ticket.

Getting started

Get access and sign in for the first time.

Request access

  1. Open the Contact page and fill in the early-access form.
  2. Our team reviews every request.
  3. Once approved, you get an email with a one-time setup link.

Activate your account

  1. Click the setup link in your approval email.
  2. Choose a password.
  3. You land on your dashboard, ready to send forms.

Setup links work once. If yours expired, open a support ticket and we'll send a new one.

  1. Go to getsecureforms.com/auth, or your agency's own address (getsecureforms.com/your-name).
  2. Sign in with your email (not a username) and password.
  3. If two-factor login is on, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

You're signed out automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Your forms library

Get carrier forms into your account.

Request a ready-made form

  1. On your dashboard, open the forms library.
  2. Browse the master library of already-set-up carrier forms.
  3. Request a form; once approved, your own copy appears in your library.

Have us set up your forms

  1. Open 'Send us your forms' from the site footer.
  2. Upload up to 5 PDFs (15 MB each) with any notes.
  3. We set them up, test them, and add them to your library.

You never have to map fields yourself.

Upload your own fillable PDF

  1. Upload a fillable PDF to your library.
  2. AI suggests a plain question for each field.
  3. Review which questions are required, optional, or hidden.

Sending signature requests

Send a form to a signor and track it.

Send a request

  1. On your dashboard, pick a form.
  2. Enter the signor's name and email (saved contacts fill in automatically).
  3. Optionally add a password, link expiry, or sign-by date and time.
  4. Send — the signor gets an email with a private link.

Reminders and resending

Unsigned requests get automatic reminders every 2 days (up to 3). Use Resend any time to send the email again, or Extend link if it expired.

Sign-by deadlines and Drafts

Sign-by times use your account time zone (set it in Settings). Requests not signed in time move to Drafts, where you can restore them with a new deadline or delete them.

Track requests

The dashboard overview shows forms sent, received, pending and contacts for this month, year-to-date, last year, or any custom dates. Hide it anytime. The request list pages through with numbered buttons.

What signors see

How the signing experience works.

The signing steps

  1. The signor opens the private link (no account needed).
  2. They agree to the electronic signature consent.
  3. They answer plain questions and attach any documents requested.
  4. They preview the completed PDF, then sign by drawing or typing.

Each page is stamped with the signor's name, date, time and IP address.

Optional signor account

After signing, signors can create a free account (email or Google) to see everything they've signed under My signed forms.

Built-in checks

Forms stop the signing and list what's wrong when answers don't add up — for example a W-9 tax type that doesn't match the tax ID, or no licensed state selected.

Signed forms and packets

Open, resend and send completed forms.

Signed form notices

When a form is signed, you get an email at your login address with a secure link (the PDF isn't attached, to keep SSN and bank details out of email). Didn't get it? Use Resend signed copy on the request.

Open the signed PDF and attachments

  1. Open the signed request on your dashboard.
  2. Expand Details & actions.
  3. Open the Signed PDF or any attached file — links expire after 60 seconds.

Build a carrier packet

  1. On a signed request, click Carrier packet.
  2. Tick the files to include and set their order.
  3. Optionally add a cover page, then download one combined PDF.

Packets include sensitive details — send only through the carrier's secure portal or encrypted email.

Settings and branding

Make the account your own.

Branding and your web address

In Settings, choose your web address, then add your logo, agency name, description, contact details and social links. They appear on your branded sign-in page — only enter details you want public.

Time zone

Set your account time zone in Settings. Deadlines are entered and shown in that zone, whatever device you use.

Document retention

Choose how long signed documents are kept (1–12 months). You get a warning listing documents 30 days before deletion, and deleted items can be restored for 30 days from Recently deleted.

Two-factor login

Turn on authenticator-app two-factor login in Settings for extra protection.
